Joey Bosa is currently playing in his first season with the Buffalo Bills, looking to compete for a Super Bowl under head coach Sean McDermott.
Bosa previously played with the Los Angeles Chargers where they struggled to find postseason success, but with Josh Allen leading the way, his time in Buffalo could be very different.

The Bills came into the season with Super Bowl titles hopes, and while they’ve been streaky, they have shown splashes of elite football.
While they’re coming off a Week 12 loss to the Houston Texans on “Thursday Night Football,” recent news turns back the clock to Week 11 when the Bills faced the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Bosa was fined $17,389 for an illegal hit on Baker Mayfield (h/t KPRC’s Aaron Wilson).
Joey Bosa wound up finishing the game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with his first game with the Buffalo Bills with no tackles.

Baker Mayfield finished the matchup against the Buffalo Bills with one touchdown, one interception and 173 yards, completing 57.1% of his pass attempts.

Joey Bosa will now be forced to pay the fine after the league office issued their final response. He may have a case to appeal the cause, but the hit on Baker Mayfield was in question during the game.
