Josh Allen is looking to lead the Buffalo Bills to postseason success in his eighth season in the NFL.

Allen has already found incredible individual success, coming off an MVP season. He’s also helped Buffalo earn numerous playoff wins, but a trip to the big game is still in the making.

Before taking over as the starting quarterback for the Bills, Allen was the signal-caller of the Wyoming Cowboys at the collegiate level.

During the 2025 NFL season, after the Bills played the Houston Texans on “Thursday Night Football” in Week 12, Allen took a trip back to Wyoming.

Allen’s jersey No. 17 was retired at the Cowboys’ stadium. The Bills posted their reaction to Allen’s acconpmliosment on social media, showing love to their starting quarterback.

“Once a Poke, always a Poke,” posted the official social media account of the Buffalo Bills. “Josh Allen becomes the first player in @wyo_football history to have his jersey retired.”

Josh Allen spent three seasons on the Wyoming Cowboys. Allen played for Wyoming from 2015 to 2017, serving as the starting quarterback for the final two seasons.

In his final season with the Cowboys, Allen posted 16 touchdowns and 1,812 yards with a 56.3 completion percentage. Allen also added five touchdowns and 204 yards on the ground.

In his eighth season with the Buffalo Bills, Josh Allen continues to prove that he’s one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL after being taken by the AFC team with the No. 7 overall pick in the 2018 draft.
