The Cincinnati Bengals are desperate for a win this afternoon and will need to do it without Ja’Marr Chase due to his one-game suspension.
It has been a dog fight against the top team in the AFC, but the game came to a screeching stop inside Paycor Stadium when Tee Higgins went down late in the 4th quarter.
Higgins went up for a deep ball from Flacco late in the 4th and came down incredibly hard, hitting his head on the turf.
Tee did not show much movement until the training staff got to him before getting up and being carted off the field with a concussion.
Moments later, the Bengals’ social media announced he had been declared out with a concussion, and you could visibly see his discomfort as he exited.
The Bengals will now finish this game without Tee and Ja’Marr, and likely won’t see Tee next week against the Ravens.
As of right now, the concern is with his health, and we all hope for a positive update soon.
