Chiefs signing former fourth-round running back recently cut loose by AFC team

The Kansas City Chiefs are reportedly adding to their backfield.

According to NFL insider Jordan Schultz, the Chiefs are signing former Houston Texans fourth-round pick and running back, Dameon Pierce.

Pierce will be added to the practice squad initially, Schultz adds.

“Sources: The Chiefs are signing former Texans RB Dameon Pierce. Pierce had over 1,100 yards as a rookie and also has experience as a returner. The 25-year old will start on the practice squad,” Schultz wrote.
