Heroes, zeros and the full blitz from the Jets’ 23-10 road loss to the Ravens on Sunday:

Hero

Derrick Henry. He overcame a sluggish first half with a pair of touchdown runs and finished with two receptions for 24 yards, as well.

Zero

Breece Hall. He had just juked and zigged and zagged his way for a 40-yard reception when he was stripped and fumbled en route to the end zone for a score that would have cut the Jets deficit to 20-17 in the fourth quarter.

Unsung Hero

WR John Metchie III. He proved to be the favorite target, especially on crossers, for Tyrod Taylor. He finished with six receptions for 65 yards on seven targets, with a 13-yard touchdown catch on third-and-10 in the first half.

Key Stat

Quote of the Day

“We don’t want to be 2-9, but I do understand this — there are some things that we’re doing, some underlying things that we’re doing, some foundational things that we’re doing that I am excited about. We just gotta make sure now the record catches up with those things that we’re building.”
