Things are looking up for the Miami Dolphins, even if the playoffs probably aren’t in their future.
The team hit its bye week after back-to-back wins, including a surprisingly dominant victory over the Buffalo Bills. Even better, the Dolphins expect multiple players to make their return from injured reserve in time to contribute in the last stretch of the season.

Positivity isn’t as high for the Dolphins’ Week 13 opponent: the New Orleans Saints.
While rookie Tyler Shough led the team to an upset victory over the Carolina Panthers earlier this month, the Saints followed that up with a 24-10 loss to the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. New Orleans is now 2-9 on the year and it’s no surprise that oddsmakers don’t like the visitors’ chances of getting a win at Hard Rock Stadium in Week 13:

Dolphins vs. Saints early injury report
The Dolphins were without cornerback Rasul Douglas in their last two games, but the veteran should be back in the lineup against the Saints. Even more importantly, Miami may get a boost on the offensive line with right tackle Austin Jackson seemingly set to make his return from IR. It’s unclear if right guard James Daniels may soon follow him to the active roster too.

For the Saints, the question is the health of running back Alvin Kamara, who exited Sunday against the Falcons with a knee injury. New Orleans was also without right tackle Taliese Fuaga, who was questionable and eventually ruled out for Sunday due to an ankle issue.
