The Buffalo Bills did themselves no favors in Week 12 and then did not exactly get much help around the NFL either.

The Bills (7-4) fell 23-19 to the Texans (6-5) on “Thursday Night Football” last week.

Elsewhere, the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Indianapolis Colts to shake things up in the AFC.

The Baltimore Ravens beat the New York Jets to move up a spot over their AFC North rivals, the Pittsburgh Steelers, who lost to the Chicago Bears.

Meanwhile, the New England Patriots kept rolling in the AFC East, beating the Cincinnati Bengals. That leaves Buffalo still firmly in a Wild Card spot.

With the dust settled, here’s how the AFC playoff picture looks following Week 12, including the Bills:

1. New England Patriots (10-2)2. Denver Broncos (9-2)3. Indianapolis Colts (8-3)4. Baltimore Ravens (6-5, 2-0 AFCN)5. Los Angeles Chargers (7-4, 6-2 AFC)6. Jacksonville Jaguars (7-4, 4-2 AFC)7.
