Jeremy Cluff writes: “This Black Friday game has the potential to be very interesting. The Bears have won four straight to move to 8-3, but the 8-3 Eagles got a huge wake-up call in their loss to the Cowboys. Philadelphia will be amped for this game and force Caleb Williams into some mistakes.”
Bookies.com: Bet the Eagles to cover vs Bears
Bill Speros writes: “Both 8-3 teams own first-place in their respective divisions and have covered 7 times this season. The Bears held off Aaron Rodgers, Mason Rudolph, and the Steelers at home Sunday. Caleb Williams threw for 3 TDs. The Bears have won 8 of 9. The Eagles collapsed at Dallas on Sunday, blowing a 21-point lead. The short week could be the perfect fix for an Eagles team that continues to teeter on the brink of A.J. Brown’s latest outburst. Philly’s defense can contain Williams, Saquon Barkley won’t fumble again, and the Bears lack the deep threat produced by Dallas (see George Pickens) on Sunday. The champs bounce back with a convincing win and cover in our Week 13 NFL Best Bets.”
The site’s formula predicts that the Eagles will win the NFL Week 13 game against the Bears.
ESPN: Eagles have a 68.7% chance to beat Bears on Black Friday
The site gives the Bears a 31.1% shot at winning the NFL Week 13 game, with the remaining percentage accounting for a tie.
Dimers: Eagles 26, Bears 20
It writes: “After extensive simulations, our model gives the Bears a win probability of 28%, while the Eagles have a win probability of 72%.”
Sportsnaut: Philadelphia Eagles 20, Chicago Bears 14
Matt Johnson writes: “Being without All-Pro right tackle Lane Johnson is a definite blow for this Philadelphia Eagles offense. Even without him, though, there’ll be an opportunity on Friday night for Saquon Barkley to have success against a bottom-10 run defense. As for Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears offense, it’s just far too inconsistent to have any real success against this Eagles defense with the way they can generate pressure without blitzing and blanket top receivers in coverage. This will be a low-scoring game, but Philadelphia takes it.”
