Olivia Holzmacher went to an NFL game and she wore her ex-boyfriend’s crewneck to the stadium.
This had nothing to do with the Cincinnati Bengals or Joe Burrow.
Holzmacher, 28, was in Nashville to see the Tennessee Titans lose, 30-24, to the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, November 23. It was a rare gameday showing for Burrow’s ex-girlfriend after the two of them broke up in 2024.
Taking to her Instagram Story, Holzmacher posted a photo from the lower level of Nissan Stadium before the game. On the next slide, she showed the sweatshirt, writing over the pic, “LOL grabbed a dark navy crewneck on the way out the door for the Titans game. Ya think my 7th grade boyfriend is still looking for his sweatshirt?”

Meanwhile, as the Titans were playing their game, Burrow’s Bengals were losing, 26-20, to the New England Patriots in Cincinnati. Burrow, 28, has not played since September 14 as he recovers from a turf toe injury.
While it’s not clear when exactly Burrow and Holzmacher broke up, speculation around their split ramped up last December when Burrow’s home was robbed. Model Olivia Ponton was at the home when police arrived. Ponton’s mother, Diane, is the one who first alerted authorities, telling them, “My daughter is there. This is Joe Burrow’s house. She is staying there. He’s at the football game.”.
Holzmacher appeared to reference her split with the quarterback in a February post via Instagram.
“Be intentional, do the hard $hit, && show, don’t tell. I found my deeper well,” she wrote in the caption, alongside a carousel of images including a loaded bookshelf with titles that included, Get Out of Your Head, 8 Rules of Love and Eat, Pray, Love.

The two were college sweethearts, first meeting at the Ohio State University in 2017, shortly before Burrow transferred to LSU. Holzmacher was by his side as he became the No. 1 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft and frequently supported him in person on game days.
In 2023, retired NFL star Adam “Pacman” Jones even let slip some major news about the couple in an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show.
“I think life is great for Burrow,” he said at the time. “He just got engaged, too.”
Neither Burrow nor Holzmacher ever confirmed they were engaged.

It wasn’t long after that the two stopped appearing together in public. In December 2024, Burrow expressed his frustration over the robbery seemingly exposing details of his personal life.
“I feel like my privacy has been violated in more ways than one,” Burrow told reporters after the incident. “And way more is already out there than I would want out there and that I care to share, so that’s all I got to say about that.”
He added, “We live a public life and one of my least favorite parts of that is the lack of privacy. And that has been difficult for me to deal with my entire career. Still learning. But I understand it’s the life that we choose. Doesn’t make it any easier to deal with.”
