Welcome to Arrowhead Pride’s 2025 NFL Draft live blog for Day 2, as we cover Round 2 and Round 3 from the legendary “Titletown” in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
On Friday night, TV coverage will be provided by NFL Network, ESPN and ESPN Deportes beginning at 6 p.m. Arrowhead Time. That coverage will also be streamed on NFL+ and ESPN+. ABC will have coverage (locally on KMBC/9) beginning at 7 p.m. Arrowhead Time. You can also listen on SiriusXM and ESPN Radio.
Here we will bring you Jared Sapp’s live updates regarding Kansas City Chiefs rumors, pick reactions, trade updates, hot takes and more — while also providing for discussion in the comments.
Barring any trades, Friday night will begin with picks by the Cleveland Browns, Houston Texans, Tennessee Titans, Browns (again) and Las Vegas Raiders. The Chiefs are scheduled to have three picks on Friday night: No. 63, No. 66 and No. 95.

The quarterback selection order in this draft is borderline trolling at this point.
[9:49 p.m.]
The Seahawks take the draft’s fourth quarterback in Alabama’s Jalen Milroe.
Coverage of Sanders’ fall seems destined to dominate the draft’s third day, barring a surprise selection in the next handful of picks.
[9:29 p.m.]
The Chiefs traded the 2026 fourth round selection received from the Chicago Bears in the Joe Thuney trade to move up with the New England Patriots to the 85th overall selection to select California cornerback Nohl Williams.

Another KC metro product off the board as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers select Kansas State’s Jacob Parrish, an alumnus of North Olathe.
[9:12 p.m.]
The Texans’ visit to Arrowhead will have even more of a homecoming feel as the Texans select Kansas City native Jaylin Noel, their second wide receiver selection from Iowa State. Noel is an alumnus of Park Hill High School.
[9:02 p.m.]
Another wide receiver comes to the AFC West as the Broncos select Pat Bryant of Illinois.
[8:44 p.m.]
The Raiders add to their secondary with a raw (but insanely athletic) cornerback in Iowa State’s Darien Porter.
[8:33 p.m.]
The Chiefs were not done adding to the pass rush, as they add Louisville edge rusher Ashton Gillotte with the 66th selection, compensation from trading cornerback L’Jarius Sneed to the Tennessee Titans last offseason.
The Chiefs are next scheduled to pick with the 95th selection.
[8:22 p.m.]
The Chiefs selected Tennessee defensive tackle Omar Norman-Lott with the 63rd overall selection. Norman-Lott, like Josh Simmons, is confirmed to have taken a 30 visit in Kansas City.
Ring of Honor member Dante Hall announced the selection. The Chiefs will be back on the clock in two selections.
[8:13 p.m.]
After a pair of trade downs, the Broncos continue the AFC West’s run on offense with Central Florida running back R.J.Harvy. The Chicago Bears are now on the clock with the 62nd selection, with Kansas City to come after.
[8:01 p.m.]
After trading down multiple times, the Raiders select TCU wide receiver Jack Bech.
[7:46 p.m.]
After the Denver Broncos and Las Vegas Raiders combined to trade down three times, the AFC West finally gets a new member as the Los Angeles Chargers select Mississippi wide receiver Tre Harris.
[7:25 p.m.]
When the Texans visit Arrowhead Stadium this fall, they will be bringing a Kansas City native with them in offensive tackle Aireontae Ersery. The Ruskin High School alumnus was linked to the Chiefs throughout the draft process but the former Minnesota Golden Gopher finds his way to Houston.
[7:17 p.m.]
While overshadowed by another draft slide, the Arizona Cardinals finally take Michigan cornerback Will Johnson off the board. Johnson entered draft season widely predicted as a top ten selection before heavy scrutiny on his health scared teams off.
[6:53 p.m.]
The Buffalo Bills continue addressing defensive needs in hopes of finally getting past the Chiefs in the playoffs by trading up with the Bears to select South Carolina defensive tackle T.J. Sanders.
[6:45 p.m.]
The one draft story that NFL fans are largely burnt out on will continue — and likely explode from here. The Saints take a quarterback, but it is not the son of a Pro Football Hall of Fame member who has been the topic of endless speculation over the last 24 hours. New Orleans goes with the 25-year-old Shough, with questions looming about the future of longtime Chiefs nemesis Derek Carr.
[6:41 p.m.]
For the second night in a row, a Missouri Tiger comes off the board quickly. This time, it is a wide receiver in St. Louis native Luther Burden III.
[6:34 p.m.]
Late in the draft process, we learned that Ohio State running back TreVeyon Henderson took a virtual meeting with the Chiefs. As expected, the end of the first round would be their only chance at the dual threat back. Henderson goes to New England, two picks after the Browns took his backfield mate Quinshon Judkins with their second Friday selection.
[6:17 p.m.]
The Chiefs will host the Houston Texans at some point in the 2025 season, and quarterback C.J. Stroud will have a new weapon to attack the Kansas City secondary in Jayden Higgins of Iowa State.
[6:11 p.m.]
Cleveland kicks off the draft’s second night with UCLA linebacker Carson Schwesinger.
After a day of speculation, Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders remains on the board, and presumably will at least through pick 36, when Cleveland will be up again.
[6:04 p.m.]
Commissioner Roger Goodell has returned to the stage to officially kick off the draft’s second round. The Cleveland Browns are now on the clock.
