NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Saints have officially waived Blake Grupe after a disappointing performance in Sunday’s loss to the Falcons.
Grupe made just one of his three field goal attempts in the 24-10 loss and has failed ot be a consistent weapon for the Black and Gold all year long.

Grupe has converted just 18 of his 26 field goal attempts this season. The 69 percent mark is the lowest in his three-year career.

With Grupe gone, the Saints have signed Cade York to the practice squad. York was the LSU Tigers’ starting kicker for their 2019 national championship run.
The Cleveland Browns drafted York in the 4th round of the 2022 NFL Draft.
