Despite having won four of their last five outings and owning the No. 2 seed in the NFC, many are doubting Nick Sirianni and the Philadelphia Eagles before their matchup with the Chicago Bears on Friday.
Even after seeing the Eagles‘ loss to the Dallas Cowboys up close on Sunday, Fox broadcaster and future Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback Tom Brady isn’t selling his stock. Well, he’s a part-owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, but you get it.

“I watched the Eagles implode in the second half in Dallas, but I’m still not giving up on this team,” Brady said. “They played one of the hardest schedules in the NFL, and they still sit at 8-3. They need to figure out some of these misfires on offense, but I’ve still got faith in the champs as the temperatures start to drop.”

Earlier this month, disgruntled receiver A.J. Brown emphasized the importance of the offense finding its groove. The Eagles have the No. 23 passing offense (193.2 yards per game) in the NFL. Brown has been unhappy with his role in the attack for most of the campaign.

“If we’re really focused on winning and doing our job, we can’t just keep slapping a Band-Aid over the defense doing their job and getting us out of trouble,” Brown said. “At what point are we going to pick up our slack as an offense? … It’s been week after week sometimes we’re not doing our job on offense. You can’t keep slapping a Band-Aid over that and expect to win.”
