The College Football Playoff Top 25 rankings dropped this week, and the shuffle is real. Nearly every spot saw movement as teams continue their fight for postseason positioning.
Ohio State holds steady at No. 1, still the team to beat in college football. Indiana sits behind them at No. 2, followed by Texas A&M at No. 3. Georgia climbed into the No. 4 spot after another solid week, and Texas Tech rounds out the top five at No. 5.

Oregon made a statement, jumping three spots to No. 6 after taking down USC. Ole Miss slipped one spot to No. 7 despite having a bye week.
Oklahoma stayed at No. 8, and Notre Dame remained locked in at No. 9. Alabama has clawed its way back into the top ten at No. 10, rising six spots after shaking off a rough midseason stretch.
BYU moved up one to No. 11, while Miami jumped to No. 12, swapping places with Utah, who fell to No. 13 despite pulling out a close win. Vanderbilt stayed steady at No. 14.
Michigan had one of the bigger jumps, surging to No. 15 from No. 18, their highest mark this season. Texas slipped one spot to No. 16, USC settled in at No. 17, and Virginia climbed to No. 18. Tennessee rose to No. 19 after a convincing win.

Arizona State cracked the rankings for the first time this year at No. 20. The back half of the rankings saw some fresh faces and returners.
SMU debuted at No. 21, Pitt reentered at No. 22, Georgia Tech dropped to No. 23, Tulane returned at No. 24, and Arizona broke through at No. 25 after a key win.
Every team’s placement reflects big games, comeback efforts, and plenty of drama. The playoff picture is starting to take shape, but nothing is set in stone just yet.
