After starting the season with a 4-7 record, the Minnesota Vikings are primed to take on the Seattle Seahawks with their playoff lives in the balance.
The focus of this game will be on quarterback Sam Darnold, as he faces the Vikings for the first time since the two sides parted ways this past offseason. With J.J. McCarthy likely out for the game due to a concussion, things could get really interesting, especially from a narrative standpoint.

Observations
Greenard being limited makes sense after missing the last two games of the season. Hopefully, he takes a step forward, especially with Dallas Turner now on the report.
Both Jefferson and Smith got veteran rest days, which isn’t a big deal.
McCarthy being limited just two days after entering concussion protocol is a good sign for the Vikings. Will that mean he ends up playing? Probably not, but it’s a good thing nonetheless.

Observations
The Seahawks are doing a good job of taking care of their veteran players, with four getting rest ahead of Sunday’s game.
Zabel is a name to watch. He was a popular name among Vikings fans in the NFL Draft, but the Seahawks sniped him at 18th overall. He left the game against the Los Angeles Rams, but did return last week against the Tennessee Titans.
