The Bears could see the return Kyler Gordon and Jaylon Johnson for this week’s Eagles matchup as both cornerbacks logged full practices.
The Chicago Bears could be getting a major boost to their secondary ahead of Friday’s primetime clash with the Philadelphia Eagles.
Both Kyler Gordon (calf) and Jaylon Johnson (groin) remain on injured reserve but logged full participation in practice for the second straight day. Both could be activated in time for the Week 13 showdown.
Defensive lineman Gervon Dexter was a new addition to the injury report as a limited participant due to a hand issue.
However, the Bears’ defense is still feeling the sting of injuries elsewhere. Linebackers T.J. Edwards (hand, hamstring), Ruben Hippolyte (shoulder), Noah Sewell (elbow), and defensive lineman Dominique Robinson (concussion) all missed practice, along with corner Tyrique Stevenson (hip) and rookie OL Luke Newman (foot).

On a positive note, left tackle Theo Benedet (quad), running back Travis Homer (hamstring, knee), and running back Kyle Monangai (knee) were all full participants on Wednesday.
The Injury Report
Key Takeaway:
The potential return of Gordon and Johnson could add needed punch to a secondary that’s been paper-thin. But with several starters on the shelf, depth will be tested against Philly’s high-powered attack.
Stay tuned for further updates as the Chicago Bears approach Friday’s afternoon matchup with the Eagles.
