NFL Week 12 overreactions: Chiefs stay alive, Cowboys shock Eagles
USA TODAY Sports’ Prince Grimes ‘overreacts’ to some of the best games from Sunday’s Week 12 slate.
With another NFL Thanksgiving triple-header underway to begin Week 13, there are only five full weeks left of the 2025 regular season. That’s still plenty of time to see shake-ups in the 2026 NFL Draft order.
If the season ended on Thanksgiving, the Tennessee Titans would hold the No. 1 overall pick in the draft for a second straight year. Tennessee and rookie quarterback/former No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward have all of one win so far through 12 weeks of the season. No other team has fewer than two.
Outside of exciting division races to the top of a playoff bracket, there will be some interesting races to the bottom for the top of the NFL draft order. There are four teams with two wins through 12 weeks, meaning they’re all still competing for the No. 2 overall pick. Should the Titans win another game, that’s suddenly a race for pick No. 1.
Here’s how the 2026 NFL Draft order currently looks with a little less than one-third of the season left to play:
