NBC failed to air Lil Jon’s Thanksgiving halftime performance on Thursday
NBC faced intense criticism Thursday night after users reportedly the network failed to broadcast Lil Jon’s halftime performance during the Baltimore Ravens vs. Cincinnati Bengals game at M&T Bank Stadium.
The Grammy-winning music artist took the stage in front of a packed crowd around 7:15 PST, performing several of his biggest hits. Thousands in the stadium cheered as he ran through fan favorites like Turn Down for What.
But some television viewers were left in the dark. Despite promotions teasing Lil Jon’s set throughout the broadcast, NBC aired only a brief clip. Angry fans vented their frustration on X.

Another viewer mocked NBC, “NBC the whole broadcast: ‘Stay tuned for Lil Jon at halftime!’ NBC at halftime: 15 seconds of ‘Turn Down for What’ Why even mention it at that point??”
“Thanks for making us listen to Andy Reid fawn over John Madden instead of letting us watch Lil Jon #SNFonNBC #NFLonNBC,” one comment said.
One more asked, “Wait, why we couldn’t see the Lil’ Jon halftime show? They showed the other halftime shows.
