Fresh off hiring new head coach JaMarcus Shephard, Oregon State football has its first entrant in the transfer portal.
Junior tight end Riley Williams is entering the portal, a source confirmed to The Oregonian/OregonLive on Friday. On3 first reported the news.
Williams — who played high school football for Portland’s Central Catholic before transferring to IMG Academy in Florida — is open to a return to the Beavers, according to a source. He has two years of eligibility remaining, having appeared in just two games for OSU this season due to injury.
Williams started his college career with two seasons playing for former Oregon Ducks coach Mario Cristobal at Miami, where he played in 21 games across two seasons and amassed 15 catches for 187 yards and one touchdown.
