The biggest update from practice was the return of running back Christian McCaffrey, who had rested on Wednesday and Thursday after playing 58 offensive snaps and recording 31 touches Monday night against the Carolina Panthers.
“He needed it (the rest),” head coach Kyle Shanahan said.
