Craig Reynolds’ time with the Detroit Lions will not resume right away, if at all.
The Lions waived Reynolds earlier this week as part of a series of roster moves. Reynolds has been a reserve running back with Detroit for the last five seasons as well as often appearing on special teams. After being a healthy scratch with both Jacob Saylors and Sione Vaki–two players with the same profile–in the game, the Lions moved on from the well-liked 29-year-old vet.
Now, Reynolds has found a new NFL home. Per Aaron Wilson of KPRC, the New England Patriots are adding Reynolds to their practice squad. He must first pass a physical, but Reynolds is set to join the AFC East leaders.
