Quickly after his return, a Kansas City Chiefs offensive lineman could be out for some time. Chiefs left tackle Josh Simmons suffered a wrist injury during the Chiefs’ Thanksgiving game against the Dallas Cowboys. Simmons left the game, and NFL insider Ian Rapoport said the injury was “significant.” Rapoport reported Thursday evening that sources said Simmons suffered a dislocated and fractured wrist and left the stadium in a cast. Simmons was scheduled to get an MRI on Friday. Rapoport said that he will likely head to the injured reserve. This comes just shortly after Simmons’ return following a four-game absence. Simmons was out for a personal reason from Oct. 12 until the Nov. 16 matchup against the Denver Broncos. He thanked the Kansas City community for their support and assured he would be with the Chiefs for the rest of the season. Now, that’s up in the air.
