“Temperatures will be in the low to mid-40s with mostly cloudy skies. First Quarter
UCF got off to a fast start on a game-opening touchdown drive. The BYU defense allowed three plays of at least 15 yards on an 11-play drive.
Knights QB Tayven Jackson completed 7-of-8 passes for 70 yards, ending the drive with a four-yard TD pass to Dylan Wade.
Bear Bachmeier was sacked and fumbled on BYU’s first drive, but the true freshman QB was able to fall on the loose ball to prevent a disastrous start. The drive ended with a Sam Vander Haar punt that set the Knights up near midfield.
UCF doubled its lead when Jackson hit Agyeman Addae in the flat for a 20-yard touchdown.
#BYU is absolutely sleep walking out there right now. Locking up that #BIG12 CCG spot last night seems to have a lingering effect.

Outside of Texas Tech game, BYU has answered any adversity.
Have to imagine Jay Hill and Aaron Roderick will get their sides of the ball to settle in.

Will Ferrin’s second field goal miss of the day, this time from 49 yards, ended the drive.
After a UCF punt, Ferrin nailed his second FG of the afternoon with a 50-yard boot to give his team a 41-21 lead with 3:53 left.
Will Ferrin makes a 50-yard field goal.
Ferrin is big on the mental side of the game. He never gets down after a few misses. Mental toughness after a few misses today to hit a 50-yarder on Senior Day.
