Jay Green and Darrius Davis returned fumbles for touchdowns in the second quarter, and Micah Ford ran for 150 yards and a score on 29 carries. Elijah Brown threw for 123 yards and connected with CJ Williams on a 34-yard TD pass. The defense held the Golden Bears to 12 rushing yards and logged five quarterback sacks.

Notre Dame has beaten Stanford twice in a row and five times in their last six meetings, including a 49-7 win at home last season to take a 24-14 lead in the all-time series. The Fighting Irish enter the game with the No. 9 spot in the College Football Playoff rankings.
