The NFL regular season schedule has finally been released, and now the planning and the prognosticating can begin.

The Tennessee Titans knew their opponents heading in but did not know how the schedule would play out in its structure. Now unveiled, they discovered a tough opening gauntlet that should prepare them for a long stretch of winnable games. Of course, at this point everything is speculation and things can and will change.

The NFL did not make things easy for what will likely be Cam Ward’s regular-season debut. The Broncos were a big surprise in 2024 behind their rookie quarterback Bo Nix and appear ready to take the next step in the tough AFC West. 

The trip to the Mile High City will not only present physical challenges due to the altitude, it will be a great early-season test for the new-look Titans offensive line who will face one of the better pass rushing units in the league. 

The games with the Texans always take on significance, especially in Houston, and this game should be no different. In 2024, the Titans went to Houston and played one of their most complete games of the season and dominated. Now, they will get their young quarterback into action in a game that could be important at the end of the season. 

The Texans will enter 2025 with a lot of questions along their offensive line and could struggle early as the unit gains cohesion. This could be the opening the Titans need to help duplicate their 2024 success. 

This is the game fans have circled early in the offseason: The return of former head coach Mike Vrabel to Nashville. 

This should be a good matchup between two ascending franchises that have made major changes during the offseason and the start of a rivalry between two young quarterbacks with tremendous upside. 

Tennessee got the best of the Patriots in 2024 and will look to continue that success in Week 7. 

If you watched any coverage of the NFL draft, you already know why this game has the potential to be an intriguing matchup during the 2025 season. Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders was the talk of the draft and got more coverage throughout the first round than Ward got throughout the entire event as the first overall selection. Right or wrong, Ward and Sanders will forever be connected and their careers compared. 

On the field, this game should be a good battle between teams trying to recover from 2024 debacles. The Browns are expected to have a solid defense and could present challenges for the Titans offense. 

This should be an entertaining game and comes at a point where everyone knows the 2025 fate of these two franchises. 

The season finale could be extremely important and should be circled. While the importance could vary from playoff standings to draft positioning, the results could have a ripple effect across the league.

Both the Titans and Jaguars have many questions entering the 2025 season, and their seasons could play out in similar fashions behind two of the top young players in the league.
