A Steelers Depot daily segment. A quick hit of some Pittsburgh Steelers-related stories that may not require a complete article, but nuggets worth mentioning and passing on to you guys.

Early Ravens Line
Though the line could shift based on how Sunday’s action goes, the Pittsburgh Steelers are initially 6.5-point underdogs to the Baltimore Ravens for Week 14’s pivotal matchup. As of Saturday morning, the Ravens were favored by more than a touchdown.

The Steelers and Ravens figure to battle for the AFC North for the rest of the season. Odds show that both teams’ only true path to making the postseason is through winning the division and capturing the No. 4 seed. The teams will meet again in Pittsburgh in Week 18.
Including playoffs, Pittsburgh has lost the last two games to Baltimore.

Ragnow Won’t Go For Lions
Detroit Lions C Frank Ragnow won’t be unretiring after all. Though he attempted to return and help the Lions in their playoff push, the team announced that Ragnow had failed his physical due to a Grade 3 hamstring strain. That will keep him out the rest of the year and remove any chance of Ragnow’s return to the field.
Ragnow, who is still 29, initially retired in June after a history of health issues.
The Steelers will see someone else at center in Week 16. That should be C Graham Glasgow, who has started 11 of 12 games this season.
Peat Ready To Go
Andrus Peat will get the call to replace an injured Broderick Jones at left tackle. It will be Peat’s first start at left tackle since the end of the 2023 season. He gets the nod over Calvin Anderson and, catching up with the Trib’s Chris Adamski, is ready to fill in.
“I’m always ready to play or start,” he told Adamski in a Friday post-practice interview. “I’ve been a starter most of my career, so I always try to prepare like that. And keep myself in that mindset.”
Peat is presumably getting the nod over Anderson for his experience, size, and run-blocking, which will be needed against a Buffalo defense that has struggled to defend the ground game all season.
The Trib article noted Peat has spent most of the season practicing at guard before shifting back out to tackle throughout the week. He’ll be in line to face Joey Bosa and Greg Rousseau tomorrow afternoon.
Steelers’ Scouting
Steelers’ scouts were on-hand for today’s game between the Clemson Tigers and South Carolina Gamecocks. Of note were two quarterbacks in Clemson’s Cade Klubnik and South Carolina’s LaNorris Sellers.

Both were two of the higher-rated quarterbacks entering the season but have taken their lumps throughout 2025. The Tigers entered the game at just 6-5 with Klubnik’s numbers regressing across the board. Sellers’ production has fallen off even more with South Carolina sitting at 4-7 before the game after winning nine games a year ago.
Friday night, at least one Steelers’ scout attended the Arizona/Arizona State rivalry game.

Arizona knocked off Arizona State 23-7. Senior WR Kris Hutson caught seven passes for 95 yards in the wijn.
Practice Photos
The Steelers’ Twitter/X account snapped a couple of final photos of the team during Friday’s practice. Sharing snapshots of TE Pat Freiermuth, FS Jalen Ramsey, and CB Joey Porter Jr. (who will play despite a hip injury), the team held a Saturday walkthrough that was closed to the public.
Hopefully, the smiles are still around by the time tomorrow’s game is done.
