Brendan O’Sullivan provides his top player prop bets for Sunday’s New York Jets vs. Atlanta Falcons matchup.

After two straight wins, the Jets are back to a two-game losing streak. All is normal again. They’ll have the potential to win again this week at home vs. Atlanta.

The Falcons broke a five-game skid with a 24-10 victory over the Saints. Not overly impressive, but wins all count the same in the standings.

Atlanta is a 2.5-point favorite and -142 on the moneyline, while New York is +120 on DraftKings Sportsbook. The game total is set at 39.5 points.

Here are my favorite player props for this Week 13 NFL game between the Jets and Falcons.

Jets vs. Falcons Best Prop Bets

John Metchie III over 35.5 receiving yards (-115)

It’s been a long journey for John Metchie III. After being a second-round pick in 2022, Metchie was diagnosed with, and later beat, cancer. He spent two and a half seasons with Houston before bouncing from Philadelphia to New York this season. At last, it seems he’s found his footing thanks to a weak and injured Jets squad.

Metchie has played three games for New York, with the last two being some of his best performances of his career. He caught all three targets for 45 yards and a touchdown against New England, and he caught 6-of-7 targets for 65 yards and a touchdown against Baltimore.

He’s arguably the team’s top wide receiver with Adonai Mitchell and Allen Lazard as the other options. With Tyrod Taylor under center, the offense is much more competent than with Justin Fields. This, of course, benefits Metchie going forward as he aims to solidify himself in the NFL.

Bijan Robinson over 118.5 rushing + receiving yards (-113)

Entering the season this Jets defense featured two standouts in Sauce Gardner and Quinnen Williams. Still, the defense was underwhelming. The organization traded both and are embracing a complete rebuild.

Even a struggling team like Atlanta can take advantage of this defensive unit. Arguably the best weapon in the Falcons’ offense is Bijan Robinson. The running back is a dual-threat out of the backfield, allowing him to stay on the field for both run and pass plays.

Robinson is averaging 126.9 scrimmage yards per game this season and is on pace to record more than 2,100 scrimmage yards. That would be a career best, topping his 1,887 mark last year.

The Jets should be an easy matchup for him, and he’ll be involved even if the Falcons gain a big lead early.

Kyle Pitts under 48.5 receiving yards (-114)

It would be nice to finally see Kyle Pitts break out, but I wouldn’t bet on it. After a standout rookie season, Pitts hasn’t been able to capture that same output. He’s up to 459 yards and one touchdown on 49 receptions. He’s on pace to surpass his yard and reception totals from the last two seasons, but it’s not matching his rookie year.

In theory, this is a great matchup for Pitts. The Jets’ defense is weak and Drake London is out, meaning more targets for Pitts. That was also the case last week against the Saints, but Pitts caught just 2-of-5 targets for 25 yards.

He hasn’t recorded more than 48 yards since Week 8 and has only done so in four of 11 games this year.
