Along with the Indianapolis Colts vs. Houston Texans Week 13 matchup, what other games should you have your eyes on?

While there are still six games left in the regular season, it’s not too early to begin scoreboard watching when it comes to the AFC playoff race.

At 8-3 on the season, the Colts are the three seed in the AFC, trailing the 10-2 New England Patriots and the 9-2 Denver Broncos.

Indianapolis also leads the AFC South — although its lead over the Jacksonville Jaguars is down to just one game, and Houston is only two games back.

So with the Patriots on their bye this week and the Colts playing the Texans, there are really only two other games to track the outcomes of.

Denver at Washington and Jacksonville at Tennessee.

If you want more, losses by the 7-4 Chargers, who are the AFC’s fifth seed, and the 7-4 Bills, who are the seventh seed, wouldn’t be a bad thing either.

The outcome of the Colts vs. Texans game, whether it be a win or a loss, will have a major impact on Indianapolis’ playoff chances.
