The 2025 college football season is winding down with Rivalry Weekend in the books, and the focus is now shifting toward the conference championships and the final push for the College Football Playoff.

But first, fans are anxiously waiting for the release of the latest top 25 polls, which will give us an idea of how teams across the country stack up against each other.

On Sunday, November 30, the final Coaches Poll of the month was released, and to no surprise, the Ohio State Buckeyes continued their stranglehold on the No. 1 spot thanks to a dominant win over Michigan in “The Game.”

About the Coaches Poll

“The US LBM Coaches Poll is conducted weekly throughout the regular season using a panel of head coaches at Football Bowl Subdivision schools,” USA TODAY writes. “The panel is chosen by random draw, conference by conference, plus independents, from a pool of coaches who have indicated to the American Football Coaches Association their willingness to participate. Each coach submits a Top 25 with a first-place vote worth 25 points, second place 24, and so on down to one point for 25th.”
