Denver (9-2) enters the night in first place in the AFC West, with its second-year quarterback continuing to show potential as a franchise centerpiece. And, on defense, a returning Pat Surtain II, back from a 3-game absence, will add a big boost to a Broncos D that’s on pace for the single-season sack record, and has been among the best units in the NFL all season.

Meanwhile, the banged-up Commanders (3-8) will again be without QB Jayden Daniels (elbow) but welcome back wide receiver Terry McLaurin as they look to make a little noise and continue trudging through a difficult season.
