Packers edge rusher Micah Parsons talks about historic sack performance
Packers defensive end Micah Parsons talks about becoming the first player in NFL history with at least 12 sacks in each of his first five seasons.
A day after having his best game of the year on Thanksgiving in the Green Bay Packers’ win over the Detroit Lions, the good vibes continued for linebacker Isaiah McDuffie.
He and his wife, Nashalie, announced that they’re expecting their first baby.
“So much to be thankful for,” the couple wrote in a joint pregnancy announcement on Instagram with a series of the most adorable photos.
The first image included Isaiah and Nashalie holding a onesie with the phrase: “baby McDuffie coming soon.”
And it got cuter from there.
In a long-distance image from inside a home, McDuffie and Nashalie are embracing, with the Packers LB holding his wife’s baby bump.
Their dog even got involved in the photo shoot. And the pup understood the assignment. Staring at the camera with mom and dad in the background while holding the ultrasound, their smiling dog had a scarf that read “Brother.”
Several current and former Packers players and their significant others were thrilled by the news.
This included Packers tight end Tucker Kraft and his wife, Baylee, who welcomed their first born earlier this year. Tucker Kraft wrote: “Let’s gooooo” and Baylee added: “So excited for you guys!! Baby McDuffie is already so loved.”
McDuffie’s fellow linebacker, Edgerrin Cooper, commented: “Yes sir!”
Ronika Stone Love, whose wedding to Jordan Love this summer came a week after the McDuffies’, wrote: “Ahhh what a blessing congratulations you two.”
Christian Watson’s wife, Laykn Watson, who also announced her pregnancy this summer, added: “So happy for you!! Congratulations you two.”
Former Packers running back AJ Dillon, who was teammates with McDuffie in college at Boston College and for four years in Green Bay, also offered congratulations as did his wife, Gabrielle. She wrote: “So happy for you!!”
McDuffie is in his fifth season with the Packers after being a sixth-round pick (220th overall) out of Boston College in 2021.
In 12 games in 2025, McDuffie has 66 tackles [32 solo, 34 assisted], one sack, three tackles for a loss, one pass defended and one interception.
McDuffie helped set the tone against the Lions when he and Xavier McKinney pounced on Jared Goff on the Lions’ first drive. And he didn’t stop there. McDuffie, who has stepped up in the last two weeks with starter Quay Walker injured, had a season-high 12 tackles and 3.5 stuffs.

The couple were engaged at Niagara Falls in April 2024 and wed on June 23 at The Sterling at Arrowhead in Akron, New York.
