The latest AP Top 25 college football rankings drop Texas A&M from the top five, pushing both No. 3 Georgia and No. 4 Oregon up one spot.

No. 5 Texas Tech follows with its highest ranking since November 2008.

Nothing changed this week for No. 6 Mississippi, but the Aggies slipped four spots to No. 7 after blowing their perfect season to No. 14 Texas. The Longhorns’ win gave them a two-spot boost in the poll.

Meanwhile, No. 12 Miami and No. 13 Vanderbilt traded places in the rankings, despite Vanderbilt’s 21-point win over Tennessee on the road.

Ohio State and Indiana held on tight to the top two spots as the only remaining unbeatens. No. 8 Oklahoma, followed by Notre Dame and Alabama, rounded out the top 10 for the third straight week.

Championship games to watch next week:

Big Ten: No. 2 Indiana vs. No. 1 Ohio State is a matchup of Heisman Trophy front-runners in QBs Fernando Mendoza of Indiana and Julian Sayin of Ohio State. The Hoosiers are one of two teams to score more than 530 points this season (532). The Buckeyes are the only team to give up fewer than 100 points (93).SEC: No. 4 Georgia vs. No. 10 Alabama will be the fourth meeting of these teams in a title game since 2018. The Crimson Tide handed Georgia its only loss this season, 24-21 on Sept. 27, but the Bulldogs have rolled off eight straight wins since.Big 12: No. 11 BYU vs. No. 5 Texas Tech has both teams playing in the Big 12 championship game for the first time. But it’s a rematch. The Red Raiders dominated the regular-season meeting in Lubbock, winning 29-7.
