Is Lamar Jackson benchable? Patrick Smith / Getty Images
Game on, you ducks! Hopefully, none of you ended up looking like turkeys during Thanksgiving week. Of course, if your team started Lamar Jackson, you might have, since we expected a whole lot more against that Bengals defense. More on that later.
As always, you can listen (and subscribe) to the podcast using the embeds below, but let’s get into the written recap and set your priorities for the upcoming waiver run. Let’s go!

Amon-Ra St. Brown, Isaac TeSlaa, DET: Expect ASB to miss at least one week, possibly two; TeSlaa would be in the WR3 conversation, but temper expectations if Kalif Raymond plays — even push TeSlaa down to WR4 status.
Romeo Doubs, Dontayvion Wicks, GB: Doubs is still droppable, won’t have many boom games, and Wicks likely had his best game of the season. Christian Watson is the only one who is startable/trustworthy.
Luther Burden, CHI: He’s seen an uptick in production, but keep in mind the Bears’ tough schedule. Also, that, plus too many games of low production, is why DJ Moore was still a waiver fodder name.
Chase Brown, CIN: In a 60/40 split with Samaje Perine; ruins Brown’s Top 10 RB value potential.
Lamar Jackson, BAL: He doesn’t look fully healthy, and it’s time to consider benching him for another QB1.
Chuba Hubbard, CAR: Rico Dowdle lost touches due to pass-blocking concerns. Hubbard looked good, and it wouldn’t be a surprise for the Panthers to come out of the bye with a full 50/50 timeshare.
Kenneth Walker, SEA: His grip on the lead role is strengthening; solid RB2 going forward.
Ricky Pearsall, SF: Was droppable and now even more so during the bye; much better in man coverage matchups, and there is only one man-heavy matchup remaining.
Harold Fannin, CLE: Approaching TE1 value as rapport with Shedeur Sanders improves.
Jayden Higgins, HOU: Downgrade to WR5 unless an injury opens up targets. C.J. Stroud looked to Xavier Hutchinson as much as Higgins.
Devaughn Vele, NO: Deep waiver pickup; increased opportunities as Saints’ WR2 and potential boom/bust WR4 value ROS.
Darren Waller, MIA: Back from injury and has high-end TE1 potential going forward.
Bucky Irving, Chris Godwin, TB: Back in fringe RB1 conversation; looked healthy and was rather effective. Godwin trending back toward WR2 status, as he looked like pre-injury Godwin … finally.
Michael Wilson, ARI: Value depends on Marvin Harrison’s health; WR2/3 if Harrison plays (injury late in the game), WR1/2 if he’s out.
Brian Thomas, Brenton Strange, JAX: More of a WR3 given Trevor Lawrence’s lesser rapport with Thomas. Strange is still a fringe TE1 — was still involved even with Thomas back.
Aaron Jones, MIN: If out, and Jordan Mason is available, Mason is a must-add and RB2 start, no matter the QB.
Pat Bryant, DEN: Was the Broncos’ No. 2 WR out of the bye. Deep waiver add; potential WR4 for Week 14.
Adonai Mitchell, NYJ: From the last few weeks’ waivers, Mitchell is an even stronger add with a high ceiling, but will be inconsistent — expect a WR4, boom/bust.
