The New England Patriots secured their 10th straight win Monday night, beating the New York Giants 33-15. The Patriots are now 11-2 and have the best record in the NFL. Behind New England are the Denver Broncos at 10-2 and the Chicago Bears, Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks at 9-3. Quarterback Drake Maye continued his MVP-type season, passing for 282 yards and throwing two first-half touchdowns.The Patriots were first to score, with the opening drive ending in a 22-yard field goal by kicker Andres Borregales to give New England a 3-0 lead. Shortly after, Patriots cornerback Marcus Jones returned a punt 94 yards for a touchdown, bringing the score to 10-0. It was Jones’ second punt-return score of the year. He now has the highest punt-return average in NFL history. The Giants got the ball back, but not before Patriots linebacker Christian Elliss hit kick returner Gunner Olszewski, who was already wrapped up by safety Marte Mapu. Elliss knocked the ball loose, and the Patriots recovered. New England ended the second quarter with a 30-7. In the second-half, Giants running back Devin Singletary took a wildcat snap the distance, faked an end-around and sprinted into the endzone. On the two-point conversion, Dart scrambled before finding Slayton in the end zone. Patriots still led 30-15.
