GLENDALE – Arizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride hasn’t just cemented himself as the best tight end in the league this year but is making a strong case for all-time. In 2025, McBride is the tight end leader in receptions (88), receiving yards (879), and touchdowns (8). The 26-year-old’s consistency is his most important attribute, recording 14-straight games with 5+ receptions, placing him second all-tine for tight ends.

At the rate, McBride will surpass Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce for that number one spot, just like he did five-time Pro Bowler Jimmy Graham in another impressive category. In Week 13 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Pro Bowl tight end recorded his 309 catch in his career, making it the most by a tight end in the first four years of his career.

McBride is on pace to smash the previous record, finishing his fourth season with 345 receptions. At 6’4, 245 pounds, the former second-round pick is the prototypical hybrid tight end in today’s NFL. The ability to block and be an elite pass catcher puts him on pace to be one of the best the league has ever seen.

He will need to continue this production for another decade to put his names up with the greats. However, McBride’s passion seems to burn bright and light the path towards being a future Hall of Famer for the Cardinals.
