The Buffalo Bills have had some terrible luck when it comes to injuries in the 2025-2026 season. Fortunately, they’ve been able to be pretty successful in spite of them. The Bengals haven’t been so lucky. This weekend, they could be without a key defensive player as they roll into Orchard Park to take on the Bills.

The Bengals have been without their quarterback, Joe Burrow, for most of the season

The bad news started early for the Bengals this season when they found out that they would be losing their starting quarterback early in the year. It was September when they found out that Burrow would be out for a number of weeks with turf toe, an injury that is a lot more painful than it sounds.

Sadly, that’s been the story of Joe Burrow’s career. He’s a great quarterback when he’s healthy. The problem is that it’s been tough to keep him on the field.

He just returned to the field on Thanksgiving to take on the Baltimore Ravens and knock them out of their place at the top of the AFC North.

This week, the Bengals could be without Trey Hendrickson

Their offensive struggles have been well documented, but this weekend, they could be without one of their major defensive players. Trey Hendrickson is already considered doubtful for the game on Sunday against the Bills. If his name sounds familiar, it’s because we heard it a lot this past summer as he was holding out from training camp with the Bengals. He was the sack leader in the NFL with 17.5 sacks in the 2024 season and was looking to get paid for it.

The Bengals ended up giving him a $15 million pay raise for this season, but it was just for this year. He will become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the year.

The Bills and Bengals game has been flexed out of the 4:25 pm start time and moved back to a 1 pm start for Sunday.
