The Miami Dolphins are winners of three straight and four of their last five, but it hasn’t exactly been smooth sailing.
Miami needed overtime to beat the Washington Commanders and a couple late stops to hold off the New Orleans Saints. So a Week 14 road trip to play the New York Jets is no gimme.
Earlier this year, the Dolphins got their first win of the year by beating the Jets on a Monday night, 27-21. Since then, New York has jettisoned a few players in trades, turned to Tyrod Taylor at quarterback, and won three of its last five.

Dolphins vs. Jets early injury report
The Dolphins seemed to come out of a win against the Saints relatively unscathed. The only injury update provided by the team during the game was that fullback Alec Ingold suffered a stinger.
New York was similarly fortunate on the injury front in a 27-24 win against the Falcons. While Quincy Williams and Jaylon Johnson both exited with injuries, both defensive players returned to action before the game ended.
