Denver is riding a nine-game win streak fueled by dominance in the trenches. The offensive line has surrendered a league-low 14 sacks, while the defensive front has piled up 51 sacks – most in the NFL – with five different players recording at least four apiece. In fact, the Broncos are on pace to tie the NFL’s single-season team sacks record of 72.
When the Raiders and Broncos last met just four weeks ago, it was quite the defensive matchup that ended in a 10-7 win for Denver. The Raiders nearly tied it up in the fourth quarter, but missed a field goal which sealed the outcome. That Thursday Night Football battle was one of six games the Broncos have won this season by a margin of three points or fewer.
