Taylor Swift has supported her fiancé, Travis Kelce, during many Kansas City Chiefs games at Arrowhead Stadium since the beginning of their relationship in 2023.Naturally, a ton of eyes and cameras are on the Grammy winner during the televised games.According to Chiefs President Mark Donovan, she isn’t shown on the Jumbotron at Arrowhead Stadium for a pretty good reason.

It’s not news that Taylor Swift is big on supporting her fiancé, Travis Kelce, as he takes his team to victory at Kansas City Chiefs games. She’s run onto the field and had her fair share of High School Musical moments in the football stadium suites, which have both been broadcast by the NFL during their televised games. However, the amount of IRL Swiftie screentime on Arrowhead Stadium’s Jumbotron is totally different.

According to the Chiefs President, Mark Donovan, Taylor’s face hasn’t been blown up on the KC stadium’s Jumbotron out of “respect” for her relationship with Travis.

“My job early on in this was—and I told Travis this—we’re going to treat you and your relationship with the same respect that we treat any other player in the country’s relationship,” he said on the December 1 episode of Kay Adams’ Up & Adams podcast. “It’s a relationship. Like, we’re not going to monetize it. We’re not going to go out there and go crazy.”

He continued, “All those shots you see of Taylor in the stadium—he scores a touchdown, he makes a catch, [the TV cameras] go to Taylor, especially the first year—we never showed Taylor on our big boards in our stadium. It was respectful. It’s like, we’re not going to do that. We’re not taking advantage of this relationship.”

As for the Chiefs’ growing connection with “The Fate of Ophelia” singer, Mark added, “Taylor’s been amazing to us. It’s been nothing but good. She is a phenomenon. But she is just a special, kind person.”

Taylor previously dished about the NFL’s tendency to show her during their televised games during her TIME Person of the Year interview in 2023.

“I don’t know how they know what suite I’m in. There’s a camera, like, a half-mile away, and you don’t know where it is, and you have no idea when the camera is putting you in the broadcast, so I don’t know if I’m being shown 17 times or once,” she explained at the time.

She added, “I’m just there to support Travis. I have no awareness of if I’m being shown too much and pissing off a few dads, Brads, and Chads.”

If you do want to see more of Taylor’s face outside the NFL, you can always fall down her rabbit hole of Easter eggs through her music videos. Just saying!
