The Texans waived Tomlinson on Tuesday, Jonathan M. Alexander of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Tomlinson started in seven of the Texans’ first eight games of the regular season, but he was a healthy inactive for the last two games. Assuming he clears waivers, the 2015 first-rounder will look to catch on with a team in need of depth on the offensive line.
