Chiefs vs. Texans picks against the spreadJon Hoefling: Kansas City Chiefs (-3.5)

I shockingly still have faith in the Kansas City Chiefs. I can’t seem them losing more than one game for the rest of the season. At home, in primetime, this won’t be that one.

Jordan Mendoza: Kansas City Chiefs (-3.5)

This is a must-win game for both sides. Playing at home, it’s hard to go against the Chiefs and their chances of shutting down the Houston offense.

Tyler Dragon: Kansas City Chiefs (-3.5)

This is a must-win game for Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs. Mahomes puts the Chiefs on his back.

Lorenzo Reyes: Kansas City Chiefs (-3.5)

The Chiefs have their backs against the wall, but they’re 4-2 against the spread this season in home games. In essentially a do-or-die game, I’m backing the Chiefs, but this one should be close.

Richard Morin: Kansas City Chiefs (-3.5)

Although the long-term outlook is not fully known, the Chiefs should smell blood in the water in wake of Justin Herbert’s surgery, as an AFC wild card berth may have manifested in front of them. All respect to the Texans, but the Chiefs still have the talent advantage and are 5-1 at home this season.

Blake Schuster: Houston Texans (+3.5)

This is one of the tougher lines of the week, but my gut says the Chiefs win a super close one on a cold night in KC.
