One of the top rivalry games in the NFL isn’t positioned to be the typical ratings boon that it normally is for television networks with both teams at 6-6. But there are still plenty of playoff implications for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens Sunday. CBS will show the broadcast in most major markets around the country that don’t have a competing game locally.
Here is the television broadcast map for Week 14 via 506 Sports. Areas marked red will be showing the Steelers-Ravens broadcast. If you live outside those areas, you may have to go to your local sports bar to watch the game.
Both teams will experience a dramatic swing in their playoff chances depending on the outcome of the game. The Steelers will either have an 18-percent playoff chances or 65 percent depending on the outcome, and the Ravens are up against a 45-percent swing of their own. Perhaps the bigger related storyline will be Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals if they manage to beat the Buffalo Bills this weekend.
As for this matchup, the Steelers are looking to not only overcome their recent shortcomings, but their nightmare that played out at the end of the 2024 season. Will they be able to stop Derrick Henry and Lamar Jackson from running all over them like they did at the end of last season? The recent performance against James Cook III and the Buffalo Bills isn’t a promising sign.
The Ravens have won five of their last seven while the Steelers have lost five of their last seven, but Baltimore isn’t without its warts right now. Lamar Jackson is playing uninspired football, and that defense still isn’t trustworthy with several key injuries holding it back.
The Steelers are currently six-point road underdogs. They will have the A team from CBS Sports of Tony Romo and Jim Nantz calling their game. They also called the Steelers’ disastrous outing against the Buffalo Bills a week ago.
