The Chicago Bears made history with their rushing attack against the Philadelphia Eagles, and one of their players has earned big honors for his performance.

Bears running back D’Andre Swift has been named one of the FedEx Air & Ground Players of the Week for his performance against his former team, spearheading a Bears attack that led the team to a 24-15 win over the defending Super Bowl champions.

Swift had 18 carries in the game for 125 yards and a touchdown, part of a Bears rushing attack that racked up 281 yards on the ground on 47 carries on Friday.

According to Pro Football Reference’s StatHead tool, Swift and Bears teammate Kyle Monangai became the first pair of Bears players to both rush for 100 yards in the same game since Walter Payton and Matt Shuey did so during the 1985 season.

Swift is averaging 70 yards per game on the ground so far this season, with 774 rushing yards and five touchdowns in 11 games. He also has 25 catches for 237 yards and a touchdown.

Coincidentally, the Bears will be taking on the other FedEx Air & Ground Player of the Week this weekend, as Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love captured the award for his Thanksgiving performance against the Detroit Lions.

Love threw for 234 yards and four touchdowns against the Lions, leading Green Bay to a season sweep of Detroit in a 31-24 triumph.

The Bears and Packers will renew acquaintances on Sunday at 3:25 p.m., with the game airing on Fox.
