The Atlanta Falcons prepare for their Week 14 home matchup against the Seattle Seahawks while dealing with significant injury concerns across their roster. Drake London has been sidelined since leaving the team’s overtime defeat to Carolina three weeks ago with a knee injury. Will fantasy football managers have their star receiver back this week?

Drake London Injury Update
London went down during the overtime period after recording seven receptions for 119 yards against the Panthers. The swift decision to remove him from action raised immediate concerns about the severity of the knee issue.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter initially reported that London’s knee injury was “not thought to be overly serious” and that the receiver might not miss time. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport echoed that sentiment, stating London was believed to have avoided serious knee damage.
Unfortunately, those initial reports about London’s status were overly optimistic. Rapoport later confirmed that London would be sidelined for “at least” Week 12 with a sprained PCL. This update proved troubling because PCL sprains carry unpredictable recovery timelines.
London has not practiced at all since sustaining the injury. He was held out of practice throughout Week 12 and again all of last week. To the surprise of no one, London did not practice on Wednesday of this week either.
Head coach Raheem Morris offered an updated assessment Monday, describing London as “day-to-day” and “a little bit better”. Morris added that London “moved around a little bit today” and that the team will “get more feel for that even by Wednesday and even by Thursday”.
While Morris’ words indicate progression from previous weeks, the reality remains stark. Despite the encouraging updates, PCL injuries typically require 4-6 weeks of recovery. London has now missed two games with the injury and has not practiced since going down.
Players who missed the previous game that do not practice on Wednesday almost never play. The odds London plays in Week 14 are close to 0%. Even if he somehow returns to limited practice Thursday or Friday, expecting him to suit up Sunday seems unrealistic given the nature of PCL sprains.
The Falcons are playing out a lost season. They sit at 4-8 with less than a 1% playoff probability entering Week 14 according to PFSN’s playoff probability calculations.
The Falcons could be mathematically eliminated from playoff contention as soon as this week. There is a much greater chance we don’t see London until 2026 than he plays in Week 15.
London’s Fantasy Outlook
London has delivered exceptional production throughout the 2025 season. Before the injury, he posted three straight 100-yard receiving games and registered 18.9 fantasy points or better in each of his last three contests. His consistency had established him as a premier WR1 option, making his absence a devastating blow for fantasy managers.
In his last six full games, London accumulated 651 receiving yards along with six touchdowns.

Without London available, the Falcons receiving corps loses its most dangerous weapon. Darnell Mooney has become the de facto WR1, but he is not even one of the 80 most talented wide receivers in the NFL and completely incapable of earning targets.
Kyle Pitts and David Sills V have also seen increased opportunities, but neither possesses the talent level to replicate London’s production.
Fantasy managers who drafted London as a cornerstone piece should move on if necessary. The combination of the PCL sprain, lack of practice participation, and the team’s lost season makes his return extremely unlikely for the fantasy playoffs.
You can drop London and reallocate that roster spot to more reliable options for the playoff push if you need to. The Falcons have no incentive to rush their franchise receiver back for meaningless December games when elimination looms.
