Marvin Harrison Jr.’s heel injury kept the wide receiver out of Wednesday’s practice. The issue, which occurred against the Buccaneers over the weekend, is similar to the heel injury cornerback Max Melton sustained against the Jaguars according to coach Jonathan Gannon.

When asked how Harrison was feeling, Gannon said he was doing “OK.” If the Cardinals top wideout can’t go, at least there is confidence in what Michael Wilson had been able to do as WR1 against the 49ers and Jaguars.

Harrison was one of the seven players that did not participate during Wednesday’s practice. The others were Melton (heel), running back Trey Benson (knee), wide receiver Greg Dortch (chest), right tackle Kelvin Beachum (groin), outside linebacker Josh Sweat (NIR-rest), defensive lineman Walter Nolen III (knee), and safety Dadrion Taylor-Demerson (ankle).

The clock is ticking on Benson’s return. Wednesday marked the third consecutive practice that he has missed since his practice window was opened two weeks ago. He must be activated to the 53-man roster by Dec. 10, and if he isn’t, he will be relegated to Injured Reserve for the rest of the season.

The encouraging news for the Cardinals offense was Emari Demercado’s return to practice after missing the last two games. He’s the best pass blocking running back and can provide a balance with Bam Knight and Michael Carter.

In L.J. Collier’s first practice back from IR, the defensive lineman was limited. The other limited participant was offensive lineman Christian Jones (knee).

Rams wide receiver Davante Adams did not practice with a hamstring issue. One of the top targets in the league, his health status will be one to monitor.
