The Cleveland Browns currently have a logjam at the quarterback position and that can be viewed positively or negatively depending on the player. For a guy like Dillon Gabriel, it is a great situation because everyone in the room besides Joe Flacco is inexperienced.

This means that the former Oregon Ducks quarterback has a great shot to play early on, even if he doesn’t win the starting job. Jordan Reid of ESPN detailed how each quarterback selected in the 2025 draft fits with their team.

For middle-round signal callers like Gabriel, Reid outlined when they may be able to see the field. Because of his third-round value, he believes Gabriels will be able to see the field early and often.

Even if he does not win the starting job, he could be thrown in for relief of a lackluster quarterback room. Gabriel had one of the most historic seasons in Oregon Ducks history and fits like a glove in Cleveland’s offense.

He could show a lot of potential this year with the talent available in the Browns’ offense.
