KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – The Kansas City Chiefs are ready for the holiday season. But, this year it’s not just fans in The Kingdom or head coach Andy Reid watching every move.
As the elves deck the Arrowhead halls and the team dreams up a game plan to face the Denver Broncos on Christmas Day there is also some “Merry Mischief” underway.
Just like in homes across Chiefs Kingdom, there is an Elf that visits GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium to report on the antics of Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, Chris Jones and other NFL stars.
Known as “Kelce on the Shelfie,” an Elf on the Shelf has all kinds of fun planned while being home alone in the home of the Chiefs.
Fans will be able to experience all of the mischief in a new short film narrated by Donna Kelce. It features Claymation versions of Patrick Mahomes, Trent McDuffie, Chris Jones, George Karlaftis, Xavier Worthy, Travis Kelce and Head Coach Andy Reid.

“The holidays have always been about bringing people together, and there’s nothing quite like the energy in Chiefs Kingdom this time of year,” said Chiefs President Mark Donovan. “Christmas gives us a unique opportunity to unite our fans, celebrate our community, and create moments that last forever. With ‘Merry Mischief’ and a full month of holiday fun, we’re embracing everything that makes this team and this city so special.”
The short will be released at 8 a.m. CT on Christmas Eve. Fans will be able to watch it on the Chiefs Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and X accounts.
The Chiefs have other surprises and celebrations in store for fans this month too.
KINGDOM ELF CONTEST
The Chiefs ask fans to share their best Elf on the Shelf photos. The more creative the better! The organization will be looking for the Elves with the most Kingdom Christmas spirit. The best of the best will be entered to win prizes like a VIP gameday experience, autographed jerseys and other gear.
MASCOT MEET-UP
Elf on the Shelf will also make live gameday appearances throughout the stadium as part of our Mascot Meetup. Fans will have the chance to make Christmas memories with the Eld and KC Wolf.
The Elf on the Shelf will even appear at a pregame parade on Christmas Day at Arrowhead. The Elf will also be in the Hall of Honor during the third quarter.
