Club Winner donations and how to watch NFL Honors
Each Club Winner receives up to $55,000 from the NFL Foundation and the Nationwide Foundation with up to $40,000 donated to the player’s charity of choice ($25,000 guaranteed donation to their charity of choice). They receive an additional $15,000 if they participate in all Super Bowl-related Man of the Year events. If the Club Winner is playing in the Super Bowl or have a pre-approved reason for not attending any or all Man of the Year events, they will receive the full $40,000. The player will also receive an additional $15,000 for attending the entire NFL Honors broadcast.
The Walter Payton Man of the Year Award winner receives up to $265,000 from the two foundations with up to $250,000 donated to Award Winner’s charity of choice. They receive a guaranteed $200,000 donation and an additional $50,000 when participating in all Super Bowl Man of the Year events. If playing in the Super Bowl or have a pre-approved reason for not attending the events, they will receive the full $250,000 donation. The additional $15,000 will be awarded if attending the full NFL Honors broadcast.
The Walter Payton Man of the Year Award will be presented on Thursday, Feb. 5 during NFL Honors. The broadcast can be watched live on FOX and NFL Network starting at 8 p.m. ET. It can be streamed on NFL+. The awards show begins at 9 p.m. ET.
