The New York Jets’ grind through the 2025 NFL season rolls on in Week 14. This time, the Jets will host the Miami Dolphins at MetLife Stadium.
All week, topics and storylines have been discussed ahead of this battle between AFC foes. In the end, regardless of what is said by players, coaches, media outlets and fans, it always comes down to what unfolds on the field in the NFL.

And once the battle arrives, there will be a few particular things to keep in mind to look out for.
With that, here are five things to watch for during the Jets (3-9) and Dolphins (5-7) clash in Week 14:
Motivation

A similar storyline will be found throughout the final month of the Jets’ 2025 season: Does this team find some motivation? Can head coach Aaron Glenn get his guys going once again?

In two games with Tyrod Taylor starting at quarterback, we’ve seen positives in both outings. However, in one contest the Jets offense still failed to put up points.
Last week? They did in the team’s win over the Atlanta Falcons.

An interception?

Total Jets interceptions in 2025: 0.
Who is in a tie for the NFL’s most interceptions throw? Dolphins QB Tua Tagoviloa (14).
It’s time to get one, Jets.
Achane’s world

The Jets only rank 26th against the run on defense this season, allowing 131.2 yards per game. This could get ugly.
Dolphins running back De’Von Achane in his last three games? 174, 120, and 134 rushing yards.
Oh boy.
Opportunities continue

Similar to Part 1, what do the Jets have in store in terms of new, young players getting opportunities? Wide receiver AD Mitchell led the way last week, who’s next?
