Regardless of the weather, the Bears are going to have to hit some passes in the game to their big receiving targets. After the Bengals game, when he was held catchless, he seemed to get more involved over the next three games. In those contests, he had 11 receptions, 180 yards (16.4 Y/C), and a touchdown against the New York Giants. Yet, against the Eagles, Odunze had another stinker, with two catches on six targets for eight yards, with his longest going for five yards. Odunze has had a productive season, with 44 catches, 661 yards, and six touchdowns, but he hasn’t had a 100-yard game since Week 8 against the Baltimore Ravens, and he has only had three touchdowns in the last 10 games after snagging three in the first two games of the season.
There could be holes in this Packers secondary, especially if they use cover three. Through Week 12, the Packers run the third-most zone cover three at 32.9%. If you look at the advanced stats, Green Bay is one of the worst teams in that regard, with an expected points added (EPA) of 0.222, the 6th-worst in the league. That number is just ahead of the Miami Dolphins, Bengals, Cowboys, the Washington Commanders, and the league-worst Tennessee Titans. We’ll see how Johnson decides to attack this secondary, but there is a clear weakness here; they just need to find ways to attack it with their best wide receiver.
