Which Players Are Injured for the Los Angeles Chargers?

On the Chargers’ injury report, several players are listed with injuries that could affect their status for the next game. Here’s how the report shapes up for a few of their key contributors.

1) Justin Herbert

Quarterback Justin Herbert is listed on the injury report with an injury to his left hand. At practice today, he was a limited participant. However, Herbert is right-handed, so he shouldn’t be affected too much and should play on Monday night.

In PFSN’s QBi metrics, he ranks 12th in the league with a grade of B- and an impact score of 80.2. In 12 games, he’s thrown for 2,842 yards, 21 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions. Additionally, he’s rushed 57 times for 353 yards and one touchdown.

2) Omarion Hampton

Omarion Hampton last played on Oct. 5 and has been out with an ankle injury ever since. Today, he was a limited participant, but the Chargers have taken a cautious approach with him, so his status remains uncertain.

In PFSN’s Weekly RBi, his best week came against the Giants in Week 4, in which he ranked as the third-best running back. He rushed for 128 yards and one touchdown on 12 attempts.

3) Quentin Johnston

Despite recording three receptions for 23 yards and a touchdown against the Raiders, Quentin Johnston was a limited participant today due to a shoulder injury. Since he’s still practicing, he should have a good chance of playing on Monday.

This season, Johnston has caught 40 receptions for 525 yards and seven touchdowns. In PFSN’s WRi, he ranks 53rd with a letter grade of C- and an impact score of 72.7.

4) Da’Shawn Hand

Chargers defensive lineman Da’Shawn Hand is listed on the injury report with a DNP due to illness. In most cases, players will usually play through illness depending on its severity; barring anything serious, he should play this week.

In PFSN’s DLi, he ranks 45th with a grade of C and an impact score of 75.6. In eight games, he has 1.5 sacks, five quarterback hits, 16 total tackles, and three tackles for loss.
